What’s new for 2024?

One huge enhancement in the 2024 GMC Canyon is the fact that owners will be able to add new features and software updates over time thanks to General Motors’ new Utilifi Platform. This new platform allows over-the-air updates, meaning drivers will be able to add new content and update old features over time. In addition, a new AT4X AEV Edition is being introduced with a host of unique design cues and features, including the Baja Drive Mode which is only available on this trim and the regular AT4X trim.

Baja Drive Mode

What exactly is Baja Drive Mode? It’s one of the driver-selectable driving modes, but it’s been updated in a huge way this year. Now, drivers will be able to apply pressure to both the brake and accelerator pedals at the same time. Then, when they’re ready to launch, they can simply remove their foot from the brake pedal. This is a huge launch control feature that will deliver improved acceleration speeds both on and off of the road.

AT4X AEV Edition
