2024 GMC Sierra HD AT4X Extreme AEV Edition Manhattan KS
We love that GMC is offering more and more when it comes to unique options for customers. There are several different utility vehicles and trucks to choose from, but each individual vehicle also has plenty of variants to choose from as well. Denali is for the luxury lovers while AT4 is for the weekend warriors. But some models are taking each further, with Denali Ultimate and AT4X. Well, now GMC is pushing the boundaries even farther by introducing an AT4X Extreme AEV Edition for the all-new 2024 GMC Sierra HD. This is the second AEV Edition to be introduced, following the 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition.
Technical Specs
We just recently built a page for the all-new Sierra HD model’s AT4X variant, but we wanted to touch base on what sets the new AEV Edition apart from it as well with its own page. This extreme version of the heavy-duty pickup truck takes most of what is available on the AT4X model and ratchets up the off-road capabilities and unique stylings. So, it doesn’t deliver extra power or performance in the technical specification sense, as it will still deliver up to 470 horsepower alongside 975 pound-feet of torque thanks to its 6.6L engine.
Unique Design Cues & Features
For those who might not be aware, AEV stands for American Expedition Vehicles, it’s a company that has been around for a quarter century building off-road parts and accessories for four-wheel drive vehicles, making it the perfect partner for top-tier off-road variants like the AT4X. The AEV Edition adds a set of robust stamped steel bumpers that feature both integrated recovery points and a front winch to enhance the vehicle’s capabilities and aesthetic.
In addition to these bumper upgrades, the AEV Edition adds heavy duty steel skid plates for extra underbody protection and a set of 18” Salta wheels. Naturally, the vehicle also features unique badging and embroidery to showcase its status as an AEV Edition model.
It’s unclear at this point in time whether or not this will be a limited edition, so be sure to get in touch with us and inquire about availability at your earliest convenience. The vehicle is scheduled to release in the fall of 2023, but the earlier you reach out the better.
