he AT4X trim level will be available on the all-new, redesigned 2024 GMC Sierra HD lineup. Perhaps down the road it will provide more options, but for now only 2500HD Crew Cab Standard Bed models with four-wheel drive will be available in the AT4X trim level. You can opt for either the 6.6L V8 or Duramax 6.6L turbo-diesel V8 engine options, determining your power output and efficiency. But what’s really important are those unique design cues and off-road features.
Unique Design Cues & Features
In addition to all of the updates that came to the Sierra HD lineup for the 2024 model year, the new 2500HD AT4X will also offer a factory-installed 1.5” suspension lift, multimatic DSSV dampers, rear e-locking differential, 35” Goodyear Territory tires, a larger steel transfer case skid plate and a front aluminum skid plate, specific front upper and lower control arms and specific steering knuckles and a unique interior. The interior will feature Obsidian Rush as the color and come complete with full-grain, leather-wrapped front seating and plenty of premium amenities, such as massaging capabilities.
You’ll also be able to engage Off-Road Mode in your Sierra HD AT4X, which will automatically adjust certain aspects of the vehicle to optimize it for off-road driving. Finally, you’ll be able to opt for up to 18,500 pounds of trailering capacity by choosing the Duramax engine.
